Understanding Depression is a 32 page booklet that introduces depression to those affected for the first time. The booklet introduces the reader to some of the terminology surrounding depression, explaining, for example, the difference between “mild”, “moderate” and “severe” depression, together with the various types of depression. Understanding Depression takes the reader through the warning signs, symptoms and formal treatments for depression, and introduces self-help approaches.
